  12. Does your Blazer have an electric fuel pump?  The pump in my '88 Honda
  13. Accord had similar intermittant problems which culminated in my leaving
  14. it with my mechanic for almost a week before it failed for him.  Once it 
  15. failed, his diagnosis was easy.  The tow truck operator had an aerosol
  16. can of some fuel substitute that he sprayed into the carb. throat to convince
  17. himself that it wasn't the battery (ie.  the engine fired and ran fine
  18. as long as he sprayed this stuff down the carb, but died when he stopped).
  19. I've seen similar products in auto-parts stores -- this could narrow 
  20. down your diagnosis.
