  11. When radials first came out, they were noted for having a different ride
  12. quality from bias tires.  I believe that they transmitted more of the 
  13. road surface roughness and gave a harsher ride.  There were even some car
  14. makers that advertised that they had a "Radial Tuned Suspension."

  16. The differences in suspension were most likely in the shock absorbers.  
  17. I'd just go ahead and put on radials.  You'll like the difference.
