- A few years ago one of the UK motoring magazines published a photograph of
- a high-performance sports car (it might have been a Lotus Esprit Turbo, but
- I don't really remember) after a high-speed run. Not only the manifold, but
- also the whole turbocharger, was glowing a *bright* red.

- simply calls for a heat shield and moves on to the real problems.
