- What is the safest vehicle configuration I can buy, in
- terms of model and options, considering that it will be
- driven in dry, wet, and snow on-road conditions?
-
- My naive guess would be the long Volvo station wagon,
- assuming I could get it with anti-lock brakes, four-wheel
- drive, and no air bag. But is that really so?
-
- [I've heard claims that the Citroen wagon is actually
- the safest, but most of its better features are outlawed
- in the US thanks to GM, and it would be hard to find
- anyone who could fix it if I broke down in Podunk Falls.]
