  12. I have an '89 Supra. Since the day I bought the car (new), I've been irritated
  13. by the amount of noise that appeared to come from the rear suspension. I get a
  14. mechnical knocking sound when I drive over even the slightest bumps in the
  15. road. Toyota's response (from the Area Rep) was that the Supra had "an
  16. aggressive suspension". In fact, the problem was traced to the hatchback
  17. rattling. In order to fix this problem, Toyota's answer seems to be tighten the
  18. locking of the hatchback (until the rubber bushes start to break). I still have
  19. this problem today!

  21. Do other Supra owners suffer from this complaint? Does anyone know if this is a
  22. known problem with these cars (and if there's a fix available)?
