-
- Maybe I'm in the minority here. But I like the pedal vibration. It gives
- me feedback as to the road condition. In the case of my Grand Prix,
- the vibration depends heavily on how far you are in anti-lock mode.
- Thus, I get very good feedback as to my cars traction. with the road.
-
- However, not all anti-lock systems are this good.
-
- I have driven three cars extensively with different anti-lock systems.
- An Olds. 98, my Pontiac Grand Prix, and a Pontiac Grand AM.
- Of the three, the system in my Grand Prix is the only system which gives
- me feedback to the road conditions. The System on the Olds. and on the Grand AM
- don't provide feedback via the pedel vibration and sound.
-
- The system in the Olds pushes against your foot and makes a growning sound.
- The system in the Grand AM makes a clicking sound, and I can't feel any
- vibration with my foot.
- The system in my Grand Prix makes a clicking sound and my the brake pedel
- moves with my foot towards the floor of the car.
