- Good car, lots of power and excellent handling. I had mine for 16 months before
- it was rear-ended on a highway. In that time the only problem I had was an
- ignition computer chip went and the car wouldn't start (about 2 weeks after I
- got it). The dealer towed it for free, provided a rent-a-car, and fixed it
- for free. Maintenance was low (oil every 8000kilometers for $25) and tune-up
- at 48,000k for $195(Canadian). The car easily handles 180kilometers/hour with
- no vibrations. As for the accident, the other car hit me going about 60k. The
- were towed away - I drove away (re: very survivable). The only down side is
- the engine is a little noisy, but Isuzu sells a under hood "muffler" if it's
- too noisy for ya. Oh ya, that huge dash is great - my girlfriend used to make
- sandwiches on it on long trips (one over 8000k). As well, there's a lot of
- glass on that car so buy a big bottle of Windex.
-
- I would highly recommend the car, and would have bought a new one after my
- accident if Isuzu still made them. Instead I bought an Eagle Talon (never keep
- a car that's been rear-ended that hard!).
