- Well it finally happened. As you know some of the 626 have the
- fancy struts with the suspenssion control. Mine were shot and
- the fix was costly so I drove the darn thing for almost two years
- with bad shocks until I started getting wet spots in the back seat
- floor. Removing the plastic sides in the trunk revealed that the
- strut tower has cracked where it was welded to the body (only on one side)

- Question 1: Is there a fix for it that won't cost a fortune.
- Question 2: If the answer to 1 is yes, is there an alternative
- source for struts for this car? The original ones
- cost close to $120 per strut!!!
