  13. Well it finally happened. As you know  some of the 626 have the
  14. fancy struts with the suspenssion control. Mine were shot and 
  15. the fix was costly so I drove the darn thing for almost two years
  16. with bad shocks until I started getting wet spots in the back seat
  17. floor. Removing the plastic sides in the trunk revealed that the 
  18. strut tower has cracked where it was welded to the body (only on one side)
  19.  
  20. Question 1: Is there a fix for it that won't cost a fortune.
  21. Question 2: If the answer to 1 is yes, is there an alternative
  22.         source for struts for this car? The  original ones
  23.             cost close to $120 per strut!!!
