  11. I don't know if this is the right group for this question or not.  If there
  12. is a better forum please let me know.

  14. I have just bought a used postal jeep (read right-hand drive)
  15.  
  16. Like most of them you see on the road, it has several layers of paint
  17. of unknown heritage (the last of which appears to have been applied with a
  18. nail file).  Also it appears that the decals are still in place.
  19.  
  20. My objective is not to make this a showroom classic but just to put a decent
  21. looking paint job on it.  Any suggestions as to my options?  (Short of a decent
  22. burial).  I initially thought of sanding it down but it is pretty rugged
  23. looking.  I also have thought of stripping it with chemical strippers or heat.
