  28. Well, I have a 83 chevette.  I can't say that my driving skills are
  29. as bad as yours, but I can say that I have driven it 100 miles a day for
  30. the past three years to work and back.  I also drive out to California
  31. from Michigan every summer.  It has 267000 miles.  No major power train
  32. repairs. I am an abusive driver; meaning that when the light turns green,
  33. the gas peddal is burried.  I have replaced the clutch three times. I       
  34. usually drive between 70 and 75 mph to and from work.

  36. The only complaint I have is I have to change the break pads about once
  37. a year.

  39. The oil filter is changed every 3000 miles and I change the oil about
  40. every 15000 miles (Mobil 1).

  42. Oh, besides the break pads, the only other complaint is that you
  43. almost have to pull the engine to change the starter motor.
