  12. Having just experienced the anti-lock brakes on my
  13. '92 Nissan SE-R for the first time I immediately rushed down
  14. to the local dealer to have the system checked.  They said
  15. it was "normal"...

  17. What happens is an incredibly loud grinding noise
  18. that I can also feel in the brake pedal whenever
  19. the antilock is engaged.  It's so violent a combination
  20. of noise and grinding feel that my (involuntary) reaction is to
  21. jerk my foot off the brake pedal, not good!
  22.  
  23. My question to you, especially if you own an SE-R or other
  24. Nissan with antilock brakes, is is this "normal"?
