- No, I don't offhand remember the author, does it matter? 8-), but it
- was the Dec. '92 issue. Funny how he talks about how the cable is most
- noticable between source and preamp, but then he feels the need to
- rewire his WHOLE system with the same manufacturers cable. Sure makes
- objective A/B/xing difficult. For my experiements I hook cables to the
- CD variable and fixed outputs and select with my preamp selector switch
- (with levels matched). If I apply his logic with my Yamaha DSP-E1000,
- I'm sure I'd get different results with the Yamaha speakers than I do
- with my a/d/s/ M15 mains, AltecLansing rears, Infinity RS10 FEs and Mirage
- center etc. speakers I am now using.

- Who has the money, room or desire to get 7 identical speakers? When I
- read a review, I'd like to hear how possibly upgrading to the component
- under review would effect my overall listening pleasure. The sort of
- review like the above is worthless except for entertainment value and
- wiping up any mess...
