- Ok, I'm fairly certain on what I'm about to say. I think that the audio out
- jack on the TV is before the amplifier in the TV, but after the preamp in the
- TV. I hook my TV up this same exact way, and I turn off the TV speakers, and
- turn the volume of the TV all the way up. On some TV's they offer the choice
- of a fixed audio out, or a variable audio out. Obviously you have a variable
- audio out. I really don't think that your system will be damaged in any way
- if you turn up the TV's volume level. I would just suggest to keep the
- Denon at the usual level you listen to. The only purpose in the audio out
- being variable is so that you can control the volume level with the TV remote.
- No big deal.
-
- Hope this helps you.
