The Acurus A250 is a stereo 250wpc RMS into 8 ohms
(manufacturer claims) amplifier. It is made by Mondial designs, the
same people who design and make the highly regarded Aragon line of
products. The A250 retails for $800-$900 list.
For that much money, you could also buy two Parasound HCA-800
100wpc stereo amps bridged into mono. These retail for about $425
apiece, list price.
