  10. Some have refered to an ideal amp as a wire with gain.

  12. Along with a previous appender, I would like a 'wire with loss'.

  14. This would go directly between my CD player and my amp for
  15. 'reference listening'.

  17. Assume my amp and CD have input/output impedances of 50k.

  19. Can I simply use a few 1% resistors and construct a voltage divider?
