- I really do not understand why so many apparently-rational people are willing
- to defend Sony's and Philips's attempts to foist these less-than-CD-quality
- systems off on the unsuspecting public. (Without even getting paid for it!)

- Yeah, "you can record on MD and its size makes it more convenient for portable
- and car use". Want to bet that it's impossible to squeeze a full 74 minutes,
- 16 bits/sample/channel, 44.1 kHz, onto a recordable disk the size of an MD? I
- wouldn't. I'll bet they could do it within another year.
