- I saw an ad in the Crutchfield catalog for
- a Bose subwoofer at a reasonable price, meaning
- about the same as the Radio Schack.

- The thing that seemed attractive is that it
- is designed to sit between the receiver and your
- speakers. The subwoofer's crossover send all
- signals over 100 Hz to the speakers.

- At the local Radio Shack their subwoofer is
- connected as the second pair of speakers.
- I don't know if this is required or if it is
- just for the demo unit.
