  13. I saw an ad in the Crutchfield catalog for
  14. a Bose subwoofer at a reasonable price, meaning
  15. about the same as the Radio Schack.

  17. The thing that seemed attractive is that it
  18. is designed to sit between the receiver and your
  19. speakers.  The subwoofer's crossover send all
  20. signals over 100 Hz to the speakers.

  22. At the local Radio Shack their subwoofer is
  23. connected as the second pair of speakers.
  24. I don't know if this is required or if it is
  25. just for the demo unit.
