- That probably only takes material goods into account. If you take
- stuff like quality of life, health, crime, pollution, population
- density, traffic, etc. into account, I can see where someone can
- try to make a case for Canada having a higher standard of living and
- still keep a straight face.

- Of course, you'd never be able to prove him wrong, because there is no
- way of accurately measuring that stuff. Or you could do something lame
- like pointing at the net migration statistics and asking why so many
- Canadians are moving here (or vice-versa?) if the standard of living is
- higher there.
