  13. Ex-president Bush introduced a bill for $5000 tax credit for the first
  14. time home buyer. Was this bill ever passed? If the bill was passed then how
  15. much can you deduct in one year?

  17. I know that I am allowed to get the deductions for the following:
  18.     Points paid to the lender
  19.     Real Estate Tax
  20.     Interest paid to the lender
  21.     State Income Tax
  22.     Local/County/Property Tax 
  23.     Charity contributions

  25. Is there any other item which can be deducted?
