- The story I hear (and read) is that John F. Akers was
- not REMOVED as your subject line implies, but is
- stepping down after consultations (during the previous
- several weeks) with several board members.

- matter more than facts (not only in business) :^).
- (for comparison, look how the CEO of Oster was recently
- forced out; he learned about the board's decision on
