- This is perhaps a crude way for Levine to have profited from this
- information. Because it is patently illegal.

- Once a top-notch guy from KKR came to give a lecture to our MBA
- class and he related a way for investment bankers to make tons
- of money without crossing the line. The modus operandi is as
- follows: A takeover fella T comes to our banker B and says he
- wants to take over Paramount Communications. B arranges for the
- necessary financing and buys heavily into 20th Century Fox, a
- similar company in the entertainment business. Then when the
- takeover bid is announced, Paramount shoots up and all other
- entertainment companies rise in sympathy. B then unloads his
- long position and walks to the bank with a smile.
