  19. Hi Walt: you are so right when you say that most people lack
  20. training. Part of thqat is the fault of today's mainstreaming I
  21. think, but at the same time, I must admit that residential schools
  22. didn't do very well in that regard either. As for Commissions for
  23. the Blind, in most states training was minimal, and you were
  24. dependent on the "luck of the Draw." If the Counselor was a good
  25. one, you were in good shape. But God help you if he/she was
  26. horrible. You were just stuck, and the only way out was to be
  27. strong enough to abandon the system and go for it alone.
  28. Unfortunately, not too many blind people have been strong enough to
  29. do that. Anyway, super to hear from you, and my very best wishes to
