- some people simply hve mental block on learning sign languge. i know
- people who refuse to learn finger-spelling because thecomputer is
- available to me so they say "why bother?" i encourage it because
- personakly i'd rathersee them use what they feel relaxed using than be
- forced to learn something for which they have nouse. i have many
- communication devices--tellatouch, apmle iie computer, versabraille,
- telebraille. so they have no excuse. i myself dont know enough signs to
- be comfortable--just finger-spelling. besides i can speak. i'm
- deaf-blind but still i don't use all methods of the deaf because i was
- raised orally.
