- As of today, NYS is patiently waiting for the feds to complete their
- proposed revisions of the basic EMT curriculum. So far they are one year
- behind schedule. Probably we will take what they develop, but since we
- haven't seen it yet, there are no guarantees.......

- The feds will almost definitely include defib in the basic curriculum.
- There was some talk of epi but that seems to be out of the running now.
- "Assisting the patient" with nitro will probably be in, but frankly
- the current curriculum and protocols already say that. Some of the feds
- don't seem to realize that and are treating this like a major change.
- As far as I can see, nothing else is likely.
