- There is no federal law against owning body armor, but I believe some
- states and local areas have laws against it. You need to find out the
- local laws concerning body armor. Also some companies only sell to the
- police. Some places where it legal to own body armor have laws against
- wearing it during the commission of a felony.

- you might want to try over in rec.guns for a discussion of the pros
- and cons of body armor.
