  18. There's some confusion here. Compuserve basic service is 7.95 per month,
  19. with free connect time. That includes a fair bit of free email credits
  20. (for sending messages, around $9.00, I think), although you pay extra
  21. for mail that crosses into Internet and other networks.

  23. Of course, many compuserve services aren't include in the basic package,
  24. and for those you must pay a connect fee. Some databases are quite
  25. expensive, other serives are charged at a "standard" connect fee that
  26. varies with baud rate.

  28. Compuserve is a huge system; there's lots you can do with the basic
  29. package, but lots lots more you can do outside of the basic services....
