  12. I've had my (Panasonic) cordless for a few months, and it just started
  13. doing this a few days ago.  I hear sort of popping noises and the party
  14. on the other end can hear them too.  Changing the channel doesn't always
  15. help.  It seems to be better if I hold the phone away from my head a
  16. little bit, but that's pretty inconvenient.  Could it be caused by
  17. static electricity? (We have had some pretty cold weather lately). It
  18. doesn't affect the quality of the sound but it's annoying.
