  21. Aigh!!  I like mi.org, and its relative flexibility.  I can relocate
  22. my site within Michigan and not feel compelled to change my name
  23. 'cause I happen to enter a different city.  The addressing is
  24. certainly less awkward.

  30. Currently, there are more mi.org email sites than mi.us sites, from
  31. what I can divine from nslookup.  (Of course, with mi.us one can do
  32. subnetting).  I remember hearing at one of the SEMiSLUGs (from Steve
  33. Simmons, possibly), that some of the well-managed domain parks like
  34. lonestar.org, mn.org, and mi.org, might be given regional control by
  35. the ISI people.  This was awhile back.

  37. :MI.US is becoming increasingly populated.  High schools around Michigan are
  38. :getting connected, and they are part of the domain.  There was also a lot of
  39. :talk at the last IETF about reserving the EDU domain for four-year colleges
  40. :and universities, and placing other schools under <state>.US.

  42. Ahhh...  the three high schools that I see in your DNS seem to be
  43. under k12.mi.us, rather than some-city.mi.us.  How do the people who
  44. run .ca feel about a k13.{province}.ca for their high schools?
