- I just wanted to mention that in the premiere of the new magazine, WIRED,
- there's an article about Richard Stallman and the Free Software Foundation.
- It seems more complementary about the man than it does the foundation---not
- that they had a problem with the FSF. They just pointed out some problems,
- such as funding shortages due to the recession (just like everyone else),
- the delays on Emacs 19 and the GNU OS, etc.
-
- Anyway, you might want to pick up the magazine. It's based in San
- Francisco, and it's a premiere issue, so I'm not so sure everyone
- everywhere can get it. But, it has interesting articles about cellular
- phone hacking, Japanese 'otaku' (super-nerds, basically), HDTV, and
- a bunch of tidbits about interesting technology. The formatting and
- typography is a little frustrating, but the articles are good.
- I recommend it.
