- I suspect this has already been reported, but in bash 1.12, the type
- command pays attention to directories as well as commands (contrary to
- the spec). `type .' is particularly amusing.

- This happens on all architectures I works on (sun 4/sunos 4.1.3, 486/isc
- 2.2.1, etc, etc.)
