- Due to a shortage of disk space, I was forced into deleting
- some of the "baggage" which comes with Openwin3.0 . I've been
- careful in deleting and retesting the OW environment by removing
- various *.c, *.h, help files. *.Z, etc files. I'm down from
- 70Megs to 58Megs but I want more!!
-
- I don't want to compile any OW applications on these machines, only
- execute the applications so I need some info on these particular
- file types:
-
- openwin3.0/lib/*.a these archive files are only need during
- compile/link or are they used during
- dynamic linking?
-
- openwin3.0/lib/fonts/* What about all these different font files?
-
- openwin3.0/share/etc/NeWS/tnt/*.ps postscript fragments or what ???
-
- openwin3.0/share/src/fonts/*/*.bdf What's a .bdf file?
-
- Any deletion recommendations? My SS2 will have the full blown version
- of OW3 but the remaining SS1s and SS2s only need the minimal OW3 system.
-
- Any help would be appreciate.
