  12. We have installed win 3.1 on Novell 3.11 in the following manner

  15. setup /a to copy all windows files onto the fileserver and uncompress them
  16.  
  17. setup /n to create the user/machine specific win.ini etc. files and store them
  18. on the fileserver also, but  in user specific directories.

  21. QUESTION:   When a user logs on to a machine that they ordinarily do not 
  22. (non-normal log on machine)  Windows crashes, as the machine expects 
  23. its (its normal log onner's) ini files but gets the visitor log onner's ini 
  24. files.  This crash cause makes sense, but is there some kind of workaround ?

  26. Is there an elegant solution where all files are still on the server ?

  28. And secondly, is there a good FTP site for NOVELL/Windows LAN stuff ?
