  20. When I test viruses, I configure my CMOS to deactivate the hard drive, 
  21. then I cold boot the computer from a write protected bootable diskette. 
  22. Re-activate the hard drive.

  24. Later i hope to get a laptop for research purposes. You might want to 
  25. think of a dedicated virus test machine yourself.
