  15.  I'm having trouble with a 1/4 inch tape drive installed on
  16.  a 5000/240 using Ultrix 4.2a.  I've tried different combinations
  17.  of rmt1h, rmt1l and rmt1m trying to see what density it supports.
  18.  It responds to the mt commands, but tar causes it to hang up
  19.  and the process can't be kill -9'd.  Here's the ps line -

  25. Nothing changes, and I can't kill it without rebooting.  Any suggestions
  26. would be appreciated.
