- There seems to be a conflict of sorts between A/UX 3.0's syslogd and v1.16 of
- the HDB UUCP (available from aux.support.apple.com): when you install the new
- UUCP, it replaces dial.o in libc.a and libc_s.a; unfortunately, this breaks
- syslogd (as you can see by compiling the code Jim posted earlier in the day).

- Does anyone at Apple have any good ideas about how to fix this? [I'm assuming
- that downgrading dial.o in libc_.a and libc_s.a will break the new UUCP.]
