  12. I installed A/UX over the weekend, and began to use it. I have some questions.
  13. 1. No matter how I set icons or window positions in the A/UX 32bit Finder,
  14. when I log back in, they get reset, yet the Views control panel doesn't
  15. say `snap to grid' or anyhing like that.
  16. 2. The color mode of my video board gets reset to B&W whether it was set to
  17. 8 bit color or 24 bit, etc.
  18. 3. What is the relationship between the /mac/sys/System Folder, the
  19. /mac/sys/Login System Folder, the /mac/sys/Startup System Folder, and the
  20. individual System Folders of users? I would like to put only one copy of
  21. each extension and control panel, etc on the system and use aliases/links
  22. to other places. Also, how can I set things so when I create a new user,
  23. their System Folder gets the setup I want?
  24. 4. Is Motif available anywhere, so that I can dump twm in X11?
  25. 5. I've decided that I will never use MacX. Can I delete it from the
  26. drive, and which files are safe for deletion?
  27. 6. This is related to (3), but I noticed that there are multiple System
  28. files all over the place. Can I just have one, and link the rest?
  29. 7. How can I change the Finder display so that hidden files get listed at
  30. .cshrc, not (big dot)cshrc?
