- Hello,
-
- Does anybody know the "true story" about getting TeX/LaTeX for
- A/UX?
-
- There appears to be a binary available on wuarchive, but it has
- been there for two years (ie prior to A/UX 3.0).
-
- Does anybody know that it works with the current version of A/UX?
-
- Is there a more current release available available for A/UX?
- (A colleague ported TeX/LaTeX to our 3b2's, he had to sweat
- bullets to do the port and he was familiar with the way TeX
- worked. I would like a package where all I would have to do
- would be "make" and "make install" ;-> or a "binary" distribution
- would be fine.)
-
- It is my understanding that early versions of TeX required a
- Pascal Compiler to build. Is this still true?
-
- Hopefully, a dvi2ps (apple laserwriter compatible) would be part
- of any such package.
-
- Seems like more and more documentation is appearing in TeX/LaTeX
- format so somebody must have access to TeX for A/UX
-
- Thanks
-
