-
- The AIX 3.2.0 X11R5 PHIGS (PEX PHIGS-SI) is based on a level of code
- that is slightly older than what appears with the official X11R5.
- AIX 3.2.0 has X11R4 and shipped before the final X11R5 was available
- from the X Consortium. So there are some minor differences between
- the AIX 3.2.0 PEX PHIGS and the X11R5 PEX PHIGS. These differences
- relate to some late changes made to the ISO C bindings. The graPHIGS
- and official PEX PHIGS bindings match ISO, but unfortunately, the AIX
- 3.2.0 PEX PHIGS bindings do not. See /usr/lpp/X11/bin/README.PEX
- for more information. This situation is corrected with PEX code
- available with AIX 3.2.3.

-
- I don't think I would try it. There is information in the readme
- file mentioned above regarding this topic.

-
- The AIX 3.2.0 graPHIGS does not generate PEX. The latest version of
- graPHIGS (avail 1/93) does generate PEX (5.1 protocol).
