- That's about right for an 8mm tape with the block size set at 512. The transfer
- rate is about 250Kb/sec at 1024. At 512 it's 125Kb/sec so it takes about
- 8 sec/Mb x 1024Mb/Gb x 2.3Gb = 18,800 sec = 313 min = > 5 hrs.
