- Hi ho! We just upgraded to AIX 3.2.0 and are have some problems. If
- anybody can help I'd appreciated it!
-
- First, the date command does not return the time zone. This seems to be
- causing problems for other programs, notably the netnews which can not produce
- a valid message ID and so we have no posting. Must this be turned on or is
- there some setting that controls this? I suspect out local/NLS setting
- which is C (Posix). Another machine with a similar setup, also upgrades to
- 3.2, has no such problem and is set for English (United States). Though,
- this is just a guess. How does one go about changing the locale/NLS?
-
- Also,, I can't get anything to compile! Things that used to compile fine
- under 3.1.5 now don't get far before stopping. I do have bsdcc set up but no
- luck most of the time. Any big change in how to compile ported stuff?
- Again, I suspect our language support and again, thats just a guess.
