  10.     Hi ho!  We just upgraded to AIX 3.2.0 and are have some problems.  If
  11. anybody can help I'd appreciated it!

  13. First, the date command does not return the time zone.  This seems to be
  14. causing problems for other programs, notably the netnews which can not produce
  15. a valid message ID and so we have no posting.  Must this be turned on or is
  16. there some setting that controls this?  I suspect out local/NLS setting
  17. which is C (Posix).  Another machine with a similar setup, also upgrades to
  18. 3.2, has no such problem and is set for English (United States).  Though,
  19. this is just a guess.  How does one go about changing the locale/NLS?

  21.     Also,, I can't get anything to compile!  Things that used to compile fine
  22. under 3.1.5 now don't get far before stopping.  I do have bsdcc set up but no
  23. luck most of the time. Any big change in how to compile ported stuff?
  24. Again, I suspect our language support and again, thats just a guess.
