- I'm currently developing on the PC using the f editor. I'm looking
- at ways of speeding it up somewhat - basically, I'd like to be able
- to have:
- a 43 line screen
- a utility to read the occam compiler o/p to place the cursor on wrong lines
- one that doesn't use bansi.sys (yuck!)
-
- I seem to remember that Julian Lewis at INMOS Bristol wrote the f editor. Is
- this right?
-
- What I'd really like to do is develop under OS/2 with loads of virtual DOS
- sessions, so I can switch between half a dozen files and run compilations
- at the same time. With a 43 line screen. And not use bansi.sys, because
- I can't get it to work properly. And have automatic location of errors
- in the source.
-
- So, any thoughts?
-
- (I would really really *not* like to use folding microemacs. So please
- don't suggest it, because I can't use it.)
