  15. I'm setting up a modem so that it can be used for dialing out and in.
  16. The dialing out part is fine (tip command), but the dialing in is not
  17. working properly.  The modem answers and I do get a 'CONNECT' message,
  18. but no 'login' prompt.  This is my configuration:

  20. Sun IPC, Practical Peripheral Hayes Compatible 2400 baud modem connected
  21. the serial port A, /dev/ttya.  Entry in /etc/ttytab looks like:
  22.     ttya    "/usr/etc/getty D2400"      dialup      on remote

  24. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing
  25. or have set incorrectly. Reply here or e-mail. Thanks.
