  13. On one of our NeXTStations running NS3.0 the following
  14. works fine:
  15. >gdb myProgram
  16. >view
  17. and Edit gets fired up with a menu item GDB.

  19. However, on all out other identical NeXT's it does not work
  20. and I can't find any difference. Edit gets fired up but no
  21. menu item is added and gdb hangs (no prompt is returned).

  23. Both Terminal and Edit are in an NFS mounted directory 
  24. (they are NOT local to the one machine that works).
  25. Each machine has it's own version of /bin/gdb but they
  26. are the same version number on all machines.
