- Howdy,
-
- I have a mono NeXTstation hooked up to the Internet via SLIP. I have
- working NeXTMail, but it's kind of a hack since my SLIP server doesn't
- give out permanent IP addresses. I receive all my mail to another
- machine, and have a shell script that periodically brings up the SLIP
- connection and copies my mailbox file over to my machine.
-
- I have a problem with bouncing mail: it doesn't. When I send a mail
- message to a non-existant address, I never hear from it again. I believe
- this is because the address in the "From:" field in my email messages and
- usenet posts is bogus. My correct address is in the "Reply-to:" field.
- When a message bounces does it automatically try to return to the "From:"
- field? Can I make it return to the "Reply-to:" field by changing my
- sendmail.cf file or something?
-
- Any help is appreciated.
