- Summary: footnotes not printing properly in wordperfect
- X-Newsreader: NN version 6.4.19 #1
-
- Hello all,
-
- A friend of mine has wordperfect 5.1 and has a small problem with it.
-
- At home it prints fine, but at work the footnotes sometimes foul up.
-
- Here's what happens :
- First everything wil be ok, then,
- One footnote will be printed too far down (the choice of which
- footnote appears random),
- Then next footnote will include footnotes that should have been
- on the previous page, and it will go way over the page break, then skip
- that page and go back to being well aligned, then,
- Sometimes a footnote will be printed back over the main text.
-
- The machine at home is an XT with an Epson FX-80 or similar printer.
-
- The Machine at work is an NEC Powermate SX Plus conected to a SUN-NFS
- network with LPT3 (network lpt) dataproducts laser printer and in the
- office an Epson lq-570 on LPT1 (local device), the correct printer
- drivers appear to be installed properly.
-
- Oh, and another thing, the prevew - "view document" shows the page how
- it should be, not how it prints. And the problems seemed to only appear
- when dos was upgraded from 3.3 to 5.0
-

-
- Any help gratefully received,
-
- Chris..
