  13. Hello all,

  15. A friend of mine has wordperfect 5.1 and has a small problem with it.

  17. At home it prints fine, but at work the footnotes sometimes foul up.
  18.  
  19. Here's what happens :
  20.     First everything wil be ok, then,
  21.     One footnote will be printed too far down (the choice of which
  22. footnote appears random), 
  23.     Then next footnote will include footnotes that should have been
  24. on the previous page, and it will go way over the page break, then skip
  25. that page and go back to being well aligned, then,
  26.     Sometimes a footnote will be printed back over the main text.

  28. The machine at home is an XT with an Epson FX-80 or similar printer.
  29.  
  30. The Machine at work is an NEC Powermate SX Plus conected to a SUN-NFS
  31. network with LPT3 (network lpt) dataproducts laser printer and in the
  32. office an Epson lq-570 on LPT1 (local device), the correct printer
  33. drivers appear to be installed properly.

  35. Oh, and another thing, the prevew - "view document" shows the page how
  36. it should be, not how it prints.  And the problems seemed to only appear
  37. when dos was upgraded from 3.3 to 5.0
