  12. You are slightly mistaken.  Himem.sys is only a memory manager.  It has nothing
  13. to do with the disk cache.  In order to disable your disk cache, all you
  14. need to do is to REM out the line that has to do with Smartdrive.  Then you
  15. will be all set.
