  19. NO don't plug in a CGA monitor to the connector, you may damage it beyond
  20. repair.

  22. I seems like you have a card that is able to emulate CGA-graphics on a
  23. monochrome (Hercules) monitor. I have just such a card.
  24. From the computers point of view the card seems to be a CGA-card.

  26. To solve your problem, if you have a card like mine, you jut set the jumpers
  27. on the card to make the card have CGA emulation mode as the default mode and
  28. change the BIOS settings to color and it should work.

  31. If you have a AMI-bios you way get the message "Display switch not proper" 
  32. on bootup just press F1 and ignore that. I haven't come across any program
  33. that needs CGA that won't run with setup.

  35. BTW. I bought my card second hand and ididn't get the programs to switch 
  36. between (is it really spelled like that?) the different modes of the card.
  37. Do you know where i can get them? Or maybe you can mail them to me, if you have
  38. them of course? I have a little booklet that describes the card and the names 
  39. of the programs are named there, but i can't remember neither their names nor 
  40. the manufacturer of the card.
