- I am in the market for a new SCSI host adapter. I have a EISA/VESA
- motherboard, with both local bus and eisa slots.
-
- Does anyone have the new Ultrastor 34F controller? If so, do you like it?
- Have you had any problems with it? Basically, I am looking to use it with
- dos, os2 and linux or bsd386. If you have one, what do you use it for?
-
- I guess that my other option is to purchase an adaptec. linux and bsd386
- both specifically want a adaptec 1542B compatable scsi host adapter. Will
- the ultrastor 34F still work?
-
- Does Adaptec make scsi loval bus controllers?
-
- Oh, I forgot to mention. I would prefer a VLB controller over an EISA.
- Infact, I would prefer an ISA over an EISA controller card.
-
- Thanks in advance
