- I have a 486DX-33 with a proprietary local bus motherboard, and I
- have decided to replace the motherboard. I guess I could just throw out a
- bunch of specs for what I am looking for, but that might be too involved.
- I just want to know what manufacturers have the most advanced VESA Local
- BUS or VL_Bus/EISA hybrids right now. I have heard good things about
- Mylex, AIR, Deico, and Micronics, but there is just so much variety.
- Also, if an of you know a price range for such 486 VLBus or 486 VLBUS/EISA
- boards WITHOUT CPU, that would be cool also.
-
- Thanks in advance.
