  13. Just a few months ago, I purchased a 486 from Centrix Computers. The
  14. machine has worked flawlessly since day one. Unfortunately, this past
  15. week I received a notice from Nationwide (the company that does the
  16. on-site maint.) that Centrix has gone out of business... BUT Nationwide
  17. would be glad to sell me another service contract.

  21. 1. Doesn't Nationwide have to honor the rest of the original service
  22. contract?

  24. 2. Renewal of the contract is rather steep. Would it be worth it to
  25. renew? The computer is working fine so far.

  27. 3. Would the manufacturers of the name brand peripherals (Mag monitor,
  28. Diamond video, etc.) included with the system honor their factory
  29. warranties?

  31. 4. Just what happened to Centrix anyway? I have had no problems with
  32. their stuff and I was surprised to see them go.

  34. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
